Registered Charity Number 1156805
In 2009 the voluntary sector lead a bid under the government’s MyPlace programme to develop new youth initiatives to ensure:
TOKKO now hosts over 15 different projects supporting a range of young people from those with new interests and keen to support the local community to those with chaotic lifestyles in need of bespoke support to overcome barriers and achieve positive steps and outcomes. Young people particularly value flexibility in activities and being able to have their voice heard, as they are the engine room of the organisation.
Put simply we are passionate about making a difference for young people to give them opportunities, experiences and a sense of self-worth to allow them to reach their full potential and be able to take ownership and direct their own future and achieve their goals.
TOKKO has grown since its initial creation; constantly moving with the ever changing local need to ensure we effectively support a wide range of young people.
Please find below achievements we are proud of, which in their own way have helped shape and develop TOKKO into the dynamic charity you find today; passionate about making a difference to our young people.
