TOKKO is governed by a Board of Trustees, who act as guardians of TOKKO’s needs and interests as a charity.
The Trustees, together with senior staff, determine the strategic direction for TOKKO. The main responsibilities of the Board of Trustees are to:
The Trustees undertake their roles on a voluntary basis. Board selection and recruitment aims to achieve a broad representation of different backgrounds, expertise and perspectives. Board meetings are held bi-monthly. In addition to trustees, the Management Team for TOKKO and representatives from the youth board also attend these meetings.
