High Town Gaming Night

Project Summary

This is a Your Say Your Way funded out-reach project in High Town for young people 12 – 19yrs (up to 24 with a disability). The 10 week gaming project runs from a youth friendly comic book and gaming shop on High Town Rd, Ahh Geek Out. Giving young people the opportunity to try, for free, over 70 computer games on 11 consoles, along with a variety of board and card games. The project will create a safe space for young people to game, and meet other young people in their area, and up skill young people on how to stay safe online.

Working in partnership with the Luton Irish Forum, this pilot project aims to engage with young people in High Town where a lack of youth facilities and activities, with a need to engage the hard to reach has been identified.
