About Us

Welcome to Tokko!

Inspiring our young people to develop and find their space in our community.

Tokko is a dynamic charity based in Luton town centre which supports young people aged 13-19 (up to 24 with additional needs) to advance in life, feel safe and bring a reality to their imaginative ideas. Our projects support some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Current opening hours for the building and various youth activities:

Mon 9am – 6pm, Tues 9am – 8pm, Weds 9am – 7pm, Thurs 9am – 6pm, Fri 9am – 7.30pm, Sat 1pm-4pm, Sun CLOSED

Our Story

Stop Press - TOKKO wins TESCO in store customer vote

Over the last 3 months TOKKO has been asking Tesco customers to #Vote TOKKO in the in store blue token scheme. You may have seen our blue token characters around the building and on social media.

We are thrilled that we received the highest number of votes and will receive £1,500 toward new equipment for our disability project. Thank you to TESCO and it’s customers for all their support.

Just Like You (TOKKO Disability Project)

Each fortnight the volunteers supporting our Just Like You project select and celebrate a young person who they feels deserves recognition for their efforts, resilience or determination – despite the individual personal challenges they may face.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to this weeks winner:

Tanisha was awarded a certificate of recognition for being: being responsible, friendly and kind.

TOKKO Stands with the Young People of Ukraine

TOKKO Youth Space, Luton, UK stands united with the young people of the Ukraine. The blight of war and military actions on Ukrainian civilians has devastated us as a youth charity in the UK.

Ukraine young people have already been injured or killed with many unable to access critical infrastructure. Their safety, well-being and lives are in danger with significant numbers of young people and their families having already had to flee the safety of their homes with the likelihood of mass displacement.

We understand the long-term impact this war and conflict will have on young people’s rights, life, development, well-being and that these adverse implications will be felt by many young people both now and for future years to come.

Above all young people need peace, safety and hope. TOKKO will support young people affected by this conflict and crisis both now and in the future. We show our solidarity with the young people of the Ukraine.
