Every young person should grow up safe and happy. We offer support to help them thrive – and step in to help when times get tough
We work to enhance mental health and wellbeing, improving the lives and aspirations of young people across Luton and the surrounding areas.
We do this by inspiring our young people to develop and find their place in our community through: building self-worth, increasing confidence and self-belief, reducing isolation, developing skills, awareness of choices and options, having a safe space and feeling not only listened to but heard.
Despite the pandemic TOKKO and its’ staff team have continued to be dynamic, flexible and creative to ensure key projects continue to support some of the most vulnerable local young people across Bedfordshire and react to both the surge in demand and local need where referrals to our service over the last year have tripled. Our bespoke 1-2-1 work around mental health and mentoring support has seen the largest increase in demand with over 1500 young people supported in 2020/2021.
We’re a vital lifeline for local young people.
